You’ll also be able to visit Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, the Cabrillo National Monument, San Diego Harbor, and Point Loma, which is a very popular tourist attraction for surfers and beach lovers. There is an outdoor patio at the marketplace, where you can enjoy terrific food, some outstanding drinks and cocktails, and some really good music from nationally-known artists as well as local artists. On virtually every Sunday from 1 PM to 4 PM, live music will be performed at Liberty Public Market for the entertainment of locals and visitors.

You can view this entire area, and you may recognize some of the locales from various movie scenes which you’ve seen in the past. There also used to be an old holding cell at the Naval Training Center where the entrance gate is now located, and you might still sense some of the ghosts from those former days. When it was operational, it hosted a number of Hollywood movies, for instance the Tom Cruise spectacular, Top Gun. The Naval Training Center once housed as many as 25,000 recruits, but has now been shut down in Liberty Station. This is a great way to sample all the delectable dishes provided by local restaurants, as well as a good way to acquaint yourself with the music and art of the community. Each attendee will be provided with a map that shows all participating businesses and whatever their special offering might be, and the map will provide a guide through the streets of the exhibit for the evening.
